The product looks amazing, I really thought I was seeing R2D2 in metal and circuits! It's very fluffy, so it can be used as a pillow too. The good thing is that you can transport stuff that breaks easily in it, and I got the feeling that it is waterproof too. I'm gonna have to test that though. The one disadvantage is that, being so fluffy, there is not much space in it. It can replace your day bag - you can fit a couple of books, a sweater, your wallet, phone, keys, but that's about it. This doesn't bother me that much however. I got R2D2 as a present and it's as awesome as a present can get! Here's me with it: https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/292495_10150975882446536_1344566144_n.jpg

The quality of the item was the same as what I had seen at Disney Star Wars Weekends, but it was shipped in a semi padded envelop instead of a box. When it arrived the padding inside of R2 was a bit misshapen, and there were wrinkles on his outer shell. Overall I think it was just the packaging it was shipped in and how it was handled. not the quality of the product. Once out of the package and hung after some fluffing he's regained his normal shape and the bulk of the wrinkles have gone away. I would recommend, but know it may not be perfect out of the package.

I got this for my 4 year old son and he really loves it. I got this item through groupon or livingsocial, so I wasn't expecting much, since I've previously noticed that their goods items are often of lower quality. This backpack has actually held-up pretty well though. I like it because it's very different from a normal kids backpack. The only caution I could give is that the internal capacity might be a bit small for a school backpack for an older child. My 7 year old son, for example, often has to haul books, lunch, and other things in his backpack and the R2-D2 backpack probably would not hold them. This backpack is best when used by a younger child to just carry around fun stuff for visits to grandparents and similar trips. Within those limitations, I have no complaints. There is no doubt that it makes your kid feel like they have the coolest backpack whenever they show it to friends. The R2-D2 was my favorite, but I could see a boy liking the AT-AT a lot as well.

the product was exactly what it said to be. Only issue I had is that the backpack came a little scuffed. Other than that it was great.
